Being fans of Australian music we decided to create a series in and around Canberra that celebrates "Oz Rock". Each cache is connected (however abstractly) to an Australian made song, band, artist, album or famous lyric.
We are still building this series so stay tuned for new caches in the OZ Rock series.

Re the Album "East'
"The album was preceded by the release of the single "Choirgirl" that was actually recorded in October 1979 and released in November, the band's first recording with Mark Opitz who would then work on all subsequent Cold Chisel albums. The songs "Cheap Wine" and "My Baby" were also released as singles. East was the first Cold Chisel album to feature tracks written by all members of the band."

This one is on Northbourne Avenue and there is parking either at the Kamberra Wine Company or across the road on Phillip St. depending on which direction you came from.
The name of this cache by no means implies that the Kamberra Wine company's wines are cheap or lead to a 3 day growth:)
