The container at this location is
a Bison Tube. After signing the log sheet please roll it up and place it in the
cap. Then screw on the bottom piece. This prevents the log sheet from being
crushed and difficult to sign. Thank You!
This cache has been placed in Riverview Park.
Riverview Park is a unique eight acre Alton City Park sitting on top of the bluffs in the Christian Hill neighborhood. The Park features flower gardens, natural areas, sledding areas and a bandstand and an awesome overlook of the Mississippi River.
Many weddings and special events are held at the gazebo throughout the Spring and Summer months. There are free Municipal Band Concerts on Thursday evenings in June and July. A lookout area created by the Jaycees affords a great view of the Mississippi river. Remember to bring your camera and/or binoculars.
The container is a camo painted Bison Tube container with only a log sheet. About 10 feet off of the mowed area.
