A cache near a community garden.
A few years ago, a local group chose to create a garden, the entire production of which was donated to a local food bank. Through the generous contributions from community businesses and many volunteer hours, this little patch of ground produced over 1000 lbs of produce in the summer of 2010. Enjoy watching the garden in each season, whether getting started in the spring, in full production in the summer and early fall, or resting in the winter. It hasn't really been all that long ago that many of our families depended upon just such a garden for a significant amount of our food, and you will notice more and more garden plots going in around town. The large fence is not so much to keep people out, but to protect the growing produce from the many hungry deer on this side of town--try growing a plot around here without this type of protection!
The reward for FTF is the satisfaction of being FTF. I am almost out of purple bison tubes. Watch out for volunteer muggles, and hospital staff who patrol the grounds in the off-hours. Please replace the cache as found in order to keep it from falling out of it's hide. Possible to get from outside, but easier from inside the fence. It's now a community garden, so no one should bat an eye. Have fun!
