Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of
America for young men and women who are 14 years of age OR 13 years
of age and have completed the eighth grade and under 21 years of
age. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help
young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and
caring adults.
We are a high adventure Crew, which means we do it
all—rock climbing and rappelling, backpacking, winter
camping—whatever events our youth are interested in
exploring. Our annual summer adventures have taken us to
Yellowstone NP, the Boundary Waters, and the Colorado Trail.
So what’s with the ice cream you may ask? We have a Crew
tradition to get ice cream on almost every outing, regardless of
weather.
