Cache is along the San Luis Rey River North Trail (SLRRNT).
This is the third cache I have placed on the SLRRNT power trail but not in distance order. This hard packed dirt/gravel trail is definitely suitable for bikes and strollers but not as pretty as it's parallel neighbor the San Luis Rey River Recreational Trail (SLRRT). In honor of the 31st anniversary of the Mt. Saint Helens volcanic eruption (May 18, 1980). I lived in Portland, Oregon when Mt. Saint Helens erupted and remember the ash and darkness that followed that day. The embankment kind of seems like it is ash covered. Really I just needed to put a cache out and it fell on this day and was unsure what I would name it, so there it is. The container is a 35mm film can with some camouflage tape on it.
