The cache is located near the public boat ramp to Rand Pond. There is parking for at least 6 cars, however on busy weekends parking may be limited. This cache will require very limited bushwhacking and is approximately 30 feet from the parking area. It is suitable for all ages; my twin 5 year old helped me pick the location.
In the southern part of the state Travel Bug “Hotels” are quite common. I thought that a “Resort” was more fitting since there is plenty to do in the area. There is great boating, swimming, tremendous fishing, mountain biking, and hiking all within a few miles of the cache location. With all of this to do who wouldn’t want to stop and take it all in? The cache is accessed off of Brook Rd in Goshen. Parking is at the public boat ramp to Rand Pond right next to Tippicanoe camp ground. There is parking for 5-6 cars. The container is a large loc n loc with a log, pen, and several track able items. Please make sure that there are always at least 2 trackable’s in the cache at all times! The cache is winter friendly however parking could be problematic when there is more than a few inches of snow on the ground. The cache is also kid friendly. My twin 5 year old boys helped pick the location of the cache. During the summer months this place can see a bit of traffic, and there are several seasonal campsites in Tippicanoe that can view the cache “I have one of them” so stealth may be required. Please – No night caching!
