This cache is part of a series of ten caches posted to honor my wife’s birthday. There are 10 in the series because “DeeDee IS A 10”! For those younger cachers who do not understand the phrase, Google Bo Derek and 10 and you’ll figure it out. DeeDee is a master cacher and usually strives for originality and inventiveness in her caches. As you do these caches you will quickly find that I have neither of those qualities in great supply but would like to honor her with this series in what brings her happiness; getting out and caching.
This cache honors how DeeDee has taken care of me through the years. I am a retired Naval Officer with hay fever. When I first got my wings in Pensacola, DeeDee began cutting the grass to allow me to remain in an “up” flight status. Now that I’m retired, she only does the trim with a push mower. However I recently rewarded her for her years of service with a power mower.
