This cache is part of a series of ten caches posted to honor my
wife’s birthday. There are 10 in the series because
“DeeDee IS A 10”! For those younger cachers who do not
understand the phrase, Google Bo Derek and 10 and you’ll
figure it out. DeeDee is a master cacher and usually strives for
originality and inventiveness in her caches. As you do these caches
you will quickly find that I have neither of those qualities in
great supply but would like to honor her with this series in what
brings her happiness; getting out and caching.
This cache honors DeeDee’s Father-in-law, my dad. Just over
the hill was my Father’s favorite fishing hole. Dad’s
gone on to be with the Lord, but one of my favorite things about
this place is seeing DeeDee with our dog, a beach chair, and a good
book, passing the time away while her bud and her Dad fished.
