It has been at least 2 weeks since I last contacted you. In that time I have had no response from you and there has been no indication that the needed maintenance has been completed. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If you correct the problem I indicated at some time in the near future I will take another look at it and may consider unarchiving the cache.

you are looking for a small well cammo covered bottle with log and a few tradables. First to find gets the plastic bag with 2 veterans quarters, 1973 rcmp quarter, and an emergency services quarter. This is my son's first cache and we enjoyed putting it together in rememberance of our grandfather/greatgrandfather.
This cache is in rememberance of my grandfather who was a WWII veteran who landed on D-day and fought his way through Europe. He was a Bren gunner on the front lines. I can only imagine what he and all our veterans went through to save our country and all the freedoms we take for granted today. It is also for one of my hockey coaches from years ago who was a WWII navy veteran that sailed our brave soilders across the English channel to the beaches of Normandy on D-day. Tha last time I talks to Mr. Miller, he figured he likely dropped of my grandfather that day. Fortunately they both made it through and came home to us. And of course this is dedicated to all our veterans, who I can never thank them enough. THANK-YOU! This cache is placed where it is as the woodlawn cemetery is close by. But out of respect, I placed this in a park a block to the west. If you have time and it's open, take a walk down the veteren's memorial road entering the cemetery. It is a beautiful and reflective walk. Enjoy. Please do not search until Friday may 20th 17:00[5:30] hours for the SCAR event.
