Geocache Description:

When word that a Mega Event was being held in Alberta, the dogs quickly said that they wanted an event too.  Bush Bear and Super Poodle quickly volunteered to host the event.  The Micro Mutts said that they wanted to help too, so their big brother said okay.  The end result is that the 4 geo-canines that have held dog related events in the past have all banded together, once again, to hold a Geocanine event in the Alberta's Badlands.  They are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones as they are hoping that many of the caching teams that are coming for the Mega event will bring their Geocanie caching companions with them.

Location: the posted coordinates

Time: 4-6 pm on Friday July 15th

Not only is this a great time for all the dogs to visit, it is also a chance for you to find out important dog related information that is specific to the Town of Three Hills and more importantly the Badlands Mega event occurring over the weekend.  Rumour has it that a very special track-able dog tag is in the works and will be available for purchase at the event as well, with proceeds going to a local rescue/ shelter to help other animals, in the Three Hills Area, find loving families like ours.  Many of the hosts are "rescue" dogs and they all love things that help others that are not as lucky as they are.

Geo-dogs please note that although you are allowed in the park, the Town of Three Hills requires that you are on leash at all times. So please don't forget your leash at home!  Of course all geo-dogs are expected to play nice in the sandbox and get along and owners are expected to clean up after you.

Although the event is being hosted by some very active geo-dogs from the Edmonton area, all cachers are welcome. So come with a dog if you have one or without if you don't.
