A nice and simple cache near to what can be a rather busy stretch of road.
Having contemplated placing a cache here a number of times while walking past on the way to and from town the newly placed structures were crying out for a cache to be placed... so here we go!
You are looking for a container a little bigger than a film cannister in height but not quite as big as one in diameter... the container having being the "inspiration" for the cache name! Sorry... only room for a logbook and pencil in this one.
Please take care if you have younger cachers with you as this stretch of Mile Lane can be exceedingly busy at times. This may necessitate the employment of stealth tactics and diversion in oder to retrieve the cache.
The cache is placed in the Cheylesmore area of Coventry - an area that over the years has played a huge part in the automotive industry of the UK - companies including Armstrong Siddeley, Coventry Climax, and the Swift Motor Company have all had associations in one way or another with the area.
