The smallest of the five active Vulcanoes of Sao Miguel is a mystic place.DO NOT LEAVE THINGS IN THE CAR WHEN YOU GO,DANGER OF BREAKING-IN. BEFORE YOU LOOK FOR THE CACHE, GO COMPLETELY DOWN TO THE LAKE, it is a litte slippery sometimes. The complete walk should be done in 1 hour. Enjoy the silence and watch out for Tyranosaurus Rex. Then go up again and look for the cache. When you come down the hill after finding the cache, take the way left at the crossing. It is a nice alternative to go back.
12 cm brown pill-box with white cover. Logbook, pencil, little shell inside. Do not be confused from an abandoned multicache (with wrong follow-up coordinates inside) that must also be around somewhere.
