Geocache Description:

Cache #7 in my water series. You will also find #5 and #6 on this same lake.

You will need a boat/kayak/raft/etc to go after this one. After hiding 2 other caches on this lake I decided to explore some more since there seemed to be more opportunities to hide stuff out at this lake. Eventually I found myself back here. This is probably the nastiest place I've found to place a cache yet terrain wise. I very nearly fell face-first into the muddy water upon trying to exit my kayak. I knew immediately I had to put one here so someone else could experience the same thing! This cache is in an area of VERY shallow and muddy water, I strongly recommend a pair of chest waders. You don't want to get the mud I got on me on you. This is a simple micro cache I got from the 3rd Annual West Michigan trade event. It is secured in a spot that should keep it safe and dry. Make sure to replace the lid tightly before you leave. It's not much of a cache, this one is more about the adventure of getting there. Part of the challenge of this will be finding the best spot to land your boat. If you do not wear rubber boots or waders, you WILL get your feet very wet and stinky. You've been warned....

Also, there are many waterfowl blinds set up in this area. If you see hunters in the area, it would be best to avoid this one and come another day.
