God Rebukes Homer!
In episode 3 of season 4, Homer decides to blow off church. He proceeds to have the best day of his life while the rest of Springfield is stuck in church, literally, as the heat is broken in the building and all the doors are frozen shut.
Homer has such a great time hanging out in his underwear all day drinking beer, that he vows never to return to church again!
But then, in a dream, God appears to Homer and sets him straight!
Upon waking, homer decides to return to the one true faith: The Western Branch of American Reform Presbylutheranism
