I have been driving by here twice a week for 8 years and finally stopped in to see what some of this stuff was all about.
Here are a few things that I learned on my visit. This muffler man is currently wearing a Harley Davidson shirt, because the owner likes Harley's.
The other large statue here is a surfer dude that was used in the filming of the movie Flatliners with Julia Roberts.
The flying saucer isn't really a flying saucer. It's actually a Futuro Home. That's right it's a one room house from the late 60's or early 70's. Not sure what they were smoking back then, current plans are to turn it into a room for people to eat their ice cream in.
Speaking of ice cream the ice cream stand is fully functional and really yummy.

Update: 05/10/2023 - I spoke with the ladies inside today and asked to speak to Don. They informed me that he passed away and that the business has been sold. They also assured me that the new owner won't have a problem with the cache remaining.
There are several new statues including Marilyn Monroe, 2 different Dinosaurs, a Big Boy, 2 different past Presidents and the zoo has grown from a pink elephant to now include a giraffe and Hippo.
The hippo is the perfect height to get your photo taken with your head in its mouth.
