One of a series of BYOP 35 mm film canisters placed on the Elham Valley Way.
All of these may be accessed via short walks but were placed with the walker in mind rather than the motor car so please identify suitable parking if you do come by car for part of the journey.
This cache suffered some damage the first day I placed it by getting caught under the dog gate. However a BIG thank you to My Feet Hurt who very kindly replaced the container for me.
The Elham Valley Way (carved by the River Nailbourne) is a 22.5-mile (40 km) recreational walking route. The route starts at Hythe and finishes at Canterbury Cathedral. It utilises much of the route of the Elham Valley Railway, constructed in the 19th century and connecting Folkestone and Canterbury.
The valley is named after the settlement of Elham. Other settlements in the valley include Etchinghill, Lyminge, Barham, Kingston, Bishopsbourne and Bridge.
