Detour off of the Alameda Creek Levee Trail. Ok, it is really in Coyote Hills which had a parking fee, but can bike in from Patterson Ranch Rd or from the Alameda Creek Stables off the Alameda Creek Trail.
Soaproot Trail gets you there without eroding any terrain.
