Geocache Description:

Cache is close to a quite little lane. There is no need to open gates, or go over fences etc. This is mentioned as the area is quite shaded with trees, so GPS may hop about a bit.

South Brook lane is a minor road linking the B2042 between Four Elms and Ide Hill with Toys Hill road running north up to Toys Hill. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists. The cache is very close by so would make an ideal shady place to stop for a break under the trees.

At the top of the lane is 'Pilgroves Farm', it is supposed to be quite an ancient site for habitation in the area. Further down the lane is the 'brook', further north at the end of the lane is Boons Park, formerly a country house.

The name 'South to South Brook' is due to the fact that the Cache Owner used to live round these parts, but now lives in the North, so came 'South' to place this cache.
