Geocache Description:

This area was home to people and events that shaped not only Chambers County but Texas as well. We thought it would be fun to place caches in some of the more interesting or historical places around "the hill." This is #5 in the series.

If you have found this cache you can look and see the building that was the original Barbers Hill High School. The building hasn't been a school for many, many years.

Many members of my family graduated from the high school at this location and I wish it could be preserved as a building that was a part of Barbers Hill history in some way.

New cache contains log only. Can hold small trade items.
