Original description:
This is an easy cache in the Loch Raven watershed area. The cache is located in managed hunting grounds so please wear safety orange. The cache is a small sandwich size tupperware-like container. It can handle small trade items. (I once saw a cinder block Travel Bug, something that size wouldn't fit). This cache is kid-friendly and not challenging like most of my other hides.
The woods on this peninsula hold some interesting ruins and old artifacts from people who lived here before the reservoir was built and forced them to move. There are also some nice views and an interesting rock formation on the way to the cache.
NOTE: THIS AN ACTIVE HUNTING AREA (ARCHERY) MID-SEPTEMBER THROUGH THE END OF JANUARY. Please make sure you are wearing orange or some other bright color. No hunting on Sundays.
