This one is located along Ye Old Bike Path that hugs the canal. It is below the upper S.A.R.T., and since the city decided to lock both access gates to this old trail, you'll have to scamper down the hillside to find the caches in this area.
There are 3 trail options for you. One at the northern end of this area, one smack dab in the middle, and one at the southern end of the area. Check the waypoints for trails #1 and #3. The middle trail is a foot trail 50 feet above the "Ellis Bayside: S.A.R.T. series" cache. It's just south of the purple "don't drink the landscape water" sign. It drops straight down to the tallest and thickest wooden power pole in the area (this is the pole that angles the wires back over the Santa Ana River) Unfortunately, you CAN'T take your bikes down this trail unless you are a seasoned cyclocross racer. Use trail #1 if you are on bikes.
