Werribee River Regional Park is a place for recreation and includes facilities such as cycling and walking trails, a picnic area and a pedestrian bridge linking to the historic Werribee Park.
Red Gum picnic area is a beautifully serene location in a new 230 hectare park along the Werribee River, featuring wetlands, coastal saltmarsh and views of spectacular escarpments including the K Road cliffs.
GZ can be accessed by one of 3 ways. On foot from carpark coordinate S 37 deg 56.017' E 144 deg 39.495'. This carpark is accessible via New Farm Rd between the hours of 6am to 9pm.
Or pushbike from Werribee River Trail. Or via Werribee Park, between 10am to 4pm.
