Agent J #1 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A high-tech, experimental puzzle/multicache that blends real and virtual worlds. Do not go to the coordinates posted. You can only get the coordinates by participating in the game. The first step is solving the puzzle below.

  • You will need a QR reader for your smart phone (the reader must be capable of making a local phone call.) They are free and available for virtually every smartphone out there. A comprehensive list of apps and supported phones is here
  • You will need a car. This cache involves different stages that can be a couple of miles apart. There is a time limit between some stages
  • A pen and paper - at each stage coordinates are given to you and they might not be repeated. Failing to take down the coordinates may require going back a step.
  • An SMS capable phone for the final stage (although this is optional but part of the fun.) One sms will be sent, and one SMS will be received. These are standard text messages and cost varies by your plan. Most plans include free SMS messages these days, but some might bill messages at 5-10 cents per message. Consult your carrier
Please note, this cache was created purely for fun. If you send a SMS, a reply is sent to your number then that number is deleted. We respect your privacy and will not share or use any personal information for any purpose beyond a couple of automatic communications during the hunt for this cache. All data is deleted daily to protect your privacy.

If you arrive at the final stage, please don't be scared off by the neighbors. There is a gentleman who often sits on his porch, overlooking the final stage. I've spoken to him about the cache and he's very friendly.

Make a note of the encryption key at the final stage for future reference! You may need it again!

Congratulations to GeoGeex for being FTF!
