Scout It Out Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

RECOMMEND YOU STICK TO THE TRAILS.
There is a lot of tree cover so widen your search area. The coordinates are within 45 feet (best I could do).
This cache is about 250' off the lower part of a mountain-bike trail near a creek and close to the northern boundary inside the park. Some of the terrain is steep. And the creek level can vary by season.
PLEASE re-hide it well -LID UP- don't be a muggle's best friend!

CONGRATS to TxHooligans for being FTF

Located inside Tyler State Park. There is an entry fee for day use to get into the park.
This is the first cache (of hopefully several caches) to be hidden by a group of boy scouts from Troop 370 in Tyler TX affiliated with Green Acres Baptist Church.

It is smaller than an ammo box, and it is well camouflaged. Our log book has plenty of pages for any short notes about your adventure to Scout It Out. There are lots of goodies, some for younger kids and some for older; included in the initial drop off is a BSA Coin for the FTF. It has lots of goodies, and I try to keep it well stocked, so bring some good trade items. You might find a treasure you can't live without. Please trade even - or trade up. Thanks!
