Prestøya er ei øy i Glomma mellom Norsk Skogmuseum og Glomdalsmuseet i Elverum. På øya finnes en rekke fangstfeller, gamle koier, naust og gammer utstilt. Øya har også en egen fiskedam på sørsiden hvor det bl.a. arrangeres fiskekonkurranse for barn under de Nordiske Jakt og Fiskedager i august hvert år.

Det er fri adgang til øya etter museenes stengetid. Området benyttes ofte som rekreasjonsområdet, så her må man være på vakt for mugglere.

Cachen inneholder kun logg. Ta med penn.

English:
Prestoya is an island in the river Glomma between the Norwegian Forestry Museum and Glomdal museum in Elverum. On the island there are a variety of traps, old sheds, boat houses and huts on display. The island also has a fish pond on the south side for organized fishing contest for children under the Nordic Hunting and Fishing Days in August each year.

There is free access to the island after the museums closing hour. The area is often used as a recreational area, so you should be aware of muglers.

The cache contains a log only. Bring your own pen.
