God of Vanuatu Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Spindoctors: I love this location, but it's probably best for someone close by to place a geocache. Hope to come back and find a new one in its place.

Geocache Description:

An out of the way cache, hidden along the Spit to Manly walk.

This cache is hidden beneath a section of the Spit to Manly walk known as the Duke of Edinburgh walk.

The Duke of Edinburgh is Prince Philip (visit link) , husband of Queen Elizabeth II. He is known by a number of titles including, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth, Baron Greenwich, Royal Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, Companion of the Order of Australia, Collar of the Order of the Aztec Eagle and Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the Golden Ark. He was previously Prince of Greece and Prince of Denmark. One of his more stranger 'titles' is that of God according to the Yaohnanen tribe of people on the island of Tanna, Vanuatu (visit link) .

Of course none of this has any relation to the geocache or its location, apart from the name of the track below.

The hide is deliberately out of the way and will require someone of sure footing to retrieve it. High tide and rain may make this a little more difficult. Please be careful not to slip on the rocks.
