Belfast Roadworks Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GEO936: We tried our best to keep this one going. This would've been the third replacement since adopting it and it is just not surviving the nasty muggles. It is very sad to say goodbye to this one, but the time has come.

This will free up the space to allow someone else to make a better hide.

Geocache Description:

Small, lip balm tub - black. BE AWARE OF MUGGLES WATCHING YOU!

Leon St asked us to adopt the caches in this area, as he is not able to get to this area often. We are around here at least twice a year and also own other caches in this lovely, little forgotten town.

The cache has been replaced! It is now magnetically attached to the FRONT of the Roller.

Belfast, now also known as eMakhazeni, is a small town in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa

The town is renowned for its excellent trout fishing conditions. Sheep and dairy farming take place here as well as maize, potatoes and timber are produced. Coal and a black granite are mined around Belfast. Around 6 million tulip bulbs are produced here annually for export; the flowers are discarded. Belfast is 2,025m above sea level and one of the coldest and highest towns in South Africa.

It was named after Richard O'Neill from Belfast in Ireland who owned the farm on which the town was built.
