Just past Goulburn on the way to Sydney there's a plaque on a rock. We stopped here to feed a screaming baby.....
Hume Highway Intersection Upgrade
Towrang and Carrick Roads
Officially opened 7 September 2007
We pass this way a lot but found this spot when we had to quickly feed the baby. There's a safe place to pull in just after Towrang Rd heading to Sydney.
From the cache there is a nice view of the upgraded road.
The cache is now a small sistema container due to the log filling up too quickly for a bison tube - thanks to robatfarrer for fixing this up for us!
Cache now also contains a MUNZEE!

When driving back the other way, why don't you try the "Great Southern Rd - Towrang" cache which is about 330m away but it's not safe to get to from here.
