Park and Grab
The cache is at the Waianakarua Scenic Reserve, turn up Mt Misery Rd off SH1, and it is about a 6km drive to the car park.
The road is narrow and gravel, watch out for other car's and logging trucks. about 2km in you will come to a sign saying no entry without a permit!! that's just for the pine forest, the road is public for about 8km.
This is at the start of the track, so is a easy park and grab.
The cache is a 500ml container.
