Marko Ramius: Since there does not appear to have been any response to the logs posted to this cache page, I can only assume that the cache owner is either MIA or is not willing or able to perform normal maintenance on this listing. Accordingly, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

TinCache #02 – NighTINgale Manor takes you on a nice stroll in a beautiful local park. You’re looking for an altoids-sized tin, located a few feet off a great hiking/walking trail. The cache contains a $2 bill for the FTF, and a couple small sparklies. BYOP.

This one might be a bit tougher to find than my first cache, both in getting there and in the searching, but the title of the cache should be of assistance and you’ll know it when you see it. The coords were dancing a bit due to the tree cover, but they should get you very close. The trail can be a muggler highway at times, so please be wary.

Tins have intrigued me since I was a boy. I’ve collected them over the years and since starting geocaching, have found a renewed interest in them from some of the clever tin hides I’ve found. There’s nothing like sticking your hand into a dark, spider-webbery hidden space and feeling that familiar shape…

So I thought I might create a little series of tin caches, each in a different kind of tin, and hopefully hidden in/on an interesting thing, manner or place. There will initially be five in the series and for those who like a little optional challenge, please keep track of the product name on each tin. I’ll send a free tincache to the first five folk who find and email me the product name on each of the five tincaches. And please, don’t mention the name of the product in any review. Thanks, have fun and I hope you enjoy the caches.

GRATZ to GeckoFish for the FTF.
