I was sad to see one of my favorite caches get archived so its back!! If you are ready for a workout, this is the perfect cache for you! Kohelepelepe or better known as Koko Crater is located on the south/east side of Oahu. Over 1200 feet high, but what makes this hike hard is the trail goes straight up!! All you do is follow the retired railroad tracks, all 1000+ "steps".
About 3/4 of the way up there is a scary bridge to cross. If it looks too scary, there is a path that goes around it on the right side.
Only words of caution are bring lots of water, comfy shoes and a hat. Try not to go anywhere near noon because there is NO shade.
