Geocache Description:

THE LISTED COORDINATES ARE FALSE - DO NOT GO THERE!

In order to find this cache you need to visit the other caches in this series and collect the clues. The clues build the TRUE coordinates for this hide

Mornington Railway - A series of caches along the historic railway line to Mornington. Nine traditional caches contain parts of a set of co-ordinates for this final mystery cache.

V.R. Mornington Railway Line. Fancy a trip a daytrip to the seaside? Why not take the train and visit sunny Mornington? This series of caches follows the old railway line into Mornington, with clues to locate the mystery 10th cache.

History:
The Mornington railway line was a rural railway branching off from the Stony Point railway line at Baxter. The line operated for 92 years before closing. Ten years later the line was reopened as a heritage railway.
1888 - In August the contract for building the line was given to David Munro for £25,000. A spur-line was built to Moorooduc quarry to transport stone for the construction of the line.
1889 - Baxter to Mornington railway line opened on 10 September.
1981 - The line was closed.
1984 - The Mornington Railway Preservation Society (MRPS) was formed.
1991 - The line was reopened as a heritage railway.

Warning:
This railway in parts is a WORKING tourist railway. Real dangers exist in walking along the line, so all the caches in this series are hidden in locations nowhere near the railway line itself. I have deliberately not published the working timetable as you must assume that the railway is LIVE at all times. All caches are hidden in family friendly locations.

Each cache contains a clue, which when combined reveal the TRUE Co-Ordinates to find this, the final cache in this series.

Once you have visited all other caches in the sereis and collected the clues, you can build the coordinates for the final cache using this formula.
