Bottom of Salmo Ski Hill. Part of a series of caches hidden for
kids, or people of all ages who are kids at heart! These are a
continuation of our Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme series of caches we
started this past winter, with more to come in the weeks that
follow! Take a short hike up the "West Run". The elevation gain
from parking is about 50-55 metres.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the King's horses and all the King's men,
Couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.
Originally published in 1803. In the seventeen
century, the Oxford English Dictionary has the term "humpty
dumpty", as a drink of brandy boiled with ale. "Huh"! This might
explain the fall! Our Humpty had a soft place to land so perhaps
the rhyme keepers were able to put him back together again. Go in
from the tallest larch -- the innukshuk will lead the way.
