The lower Kern River is an amazing place.
I have camped on this side of the river several times and each trip is a different adventure. On this trip we had several dogs with us and one ran away from camp. (Her name is Georgia a brown lively boxer who belongs to my good friend) We looked while we were in camp for three days but had to leave town without her. Luckily my buddy stuck around to search and was able to rally the force of the awesome Kernville residents in order to find his dog. She showed up 5 days later and 15 miles away from our camp site.
The cache is located on hill, off the beaten path. I hide it while I was out searching for the dog.
