I often walk and jog in Magnuson Park. There are so many strolling options: the perimeter, the cross-park trails, the wetlands, the off-leash dog park, the community garden, Promontory Point, the shoreline, the sports fields. I find Magnuson a relaxing place to exercise, to see wildlife, and to view the scenery of Mount Rainier and Lake Washington.
If there are cachers who have never been to Magnuson, they could certainly make a day of it in the park, and then spend quite a bit of time logging their finds later on.
The operating hours for Magnuson Park vary with the seasons. From May 1 to Labor Day, the park is open from 4 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. From Labor Day to April 30, the park is open from 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
