Geocache Description:

Easy Find Located Along The Glade Top Trail Scenic Byway


The best way to approach this cache is from this trails north access point. This is especially true if you plan to work the Glade Top Trail Scenic Byway Multi-cache.
This cache is located at the Caney Picnic Area, which is approximately at the trails mid point.
Here you will find amenities that one would expect at a "Pit Stop", like, parking, grills, pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms(vault), and even a outdoor amphitheater.
This is also the location of the annual(now for over 50 years) Flaming Fall Review, held each October by the Ava Chamber of Commerce.

This cache is a camoed waterproof match container that is placed under and at the end of a glade ledge.
There will be a bit of a downhill walk from the picnic area to reach the location, but nothing too treacherous.
