Leaning toward Freedom Multi-Cache
grossi: I liked highlighting the Freedom Tree with a cache; however, the location of the final hide is not in a part of Magnuson Park that is really worth visiting, so I picked up the container today. Many thanks to the 130+ people who have visited the Freedom Tree because of this multi-cache over the past three years.

The first and only waypoint for this multi-cache is a virtual one which leads to a leaning, 60-foot deodar cedar. This Freedom Tree was planted during the Vietnam War at the then-recently decommissioned Sand Point Naval Air Station.
The inscription on the dedication plaque next to the tree reads as follows: The Freedom Tree~ With the vision of universal freedom for all mankind, this tree is dedicated to the sons of Washington and all Prisoners of War and Missing in Action.
After you're done thinking about the sacrifices that have been made for our country's freedom, please gather the following information:
ABCD = the year on the dedication plaque
E = C - A
F = A + D
G = C + A
H = B - C - D
The final cache is located at: N 47° 40.EFE W 122° 15.GHD.
Once the information has been gathered and the calculations have been computed at the Freedom Tree, cachers will be led from one tree to another in a different area of Magnuson Park. The cache is a black bison tube clipped onto a branch with a black carabiner.
The operating hours for Magnuson Park vary with the seasons. From May 1 to Labor Day, the park is open from 4 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. From Labor Day to April 30, the park is open from 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
