Grab this cache, swap some swag, grab other nearby caches, and have a great day of caching. The cache box has room for decent swag, so bring something to swap. If you pass by a yard sale and can get a bag of swag for free (tell them it’s a donation to geocaching – “the toys for TOT project”) and refill the cache box I’m sure you’ll help make some child’s first caching experience a good one.
Thanks to TerriBikes+ this cache has been replaced and now is a little north and west of the orginal location. The first spot in the big tree was good for my tub, but this location developed problems with muggles so hopefully the new location will last longer. Please use stealth when searching for this cache.
The best place to park is marked on this page. The walk is short, easy and in the shade. There is no bushwhacking to speak of. The trail will bring you to within about 30 feet of the cache. Please use stealth when you grab this and hopefully it bring happiness to many caching kids of all ages.
Please obey the park rules which are that the park is open from 8 am to 1/2 hour after sunset.
There are other nice caches nearby for you to find. Have fun during your visit to this park.
Congratulations and FTF honors go to The Sapa Family.

Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches. |
