A CACHE
Termo técnico usado pelos esquiadores em neve, refere-se à utilização da lamina lateral do esqui, colocado de través, para controlar a velocidade em descidas acentuadas. 
Técnica também utilizada para travar repentinamente, como é o caso dos atletas que acabaram de efectuar um salto, ou uma descida de grande Slalom e que têm de se imobilizar num espaço relativamente curto, visto vezes sem conta nas reportagens televisivas.
Adequado a este local, em que o trilho desce de forma acentuada, verdadeira “pista negra” que poderá causar algumas escorregadelas a quem não tenha cuidado, em particular se o piso estiver molhado. O trilho original está quase intransitável, mas existe um trilho alternativo, facilmente visível poucos metros depois da cache, do lado direito. É este o caminho que recomendamos.
A cache essa, é de menor nível de dificuldade do que o terreno, num local razoavelmente óbvio.
DESCENT IN BLADES
Technical term used by snow skiers, refers to the use of the blade side of the ski, placed crosswise to control the speed in the descents. Technique used to stop abruptly, as is the case of the athletes who make a jump on the trampoline or after crossing the finish line of a giant slalom and have to get immobilized in a relatively short space, as many times seen on the TV.
Suitable on this location, where the trail descends steeply, it's a true "black slope" that could cause some slips to those who aren’t careful, particularly if the ground is wet. The original trail is almost impassable, but there is an alternative trek, easily visible a few meters after the cache, to the right side. Is this the way we recommend.
The cache difficulty level is much lower than the terrain’s, in a fairly obvious place.
