Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk through varying terrain in the Laurel Ledges Preserve on Cornwall Hill Road in the Carmel/Patterson area.

You are looking at an approximately 1.2 mile round trip walk from the posted parking coordinates (below) on Cornwall Hill Road off of route 164. You will follow the yellow trail from the parking area then take the orange trail where the yellow trail breaks left up the hill. I have provided a way point at this location. You will walk by some really cool rock formations and have a nice rolling walk through the woods to the caches hiding place. The cache is no more than thirty feet off of the trail and there will be a little bit of rock climbing at the end to retrieve your prize. The numbers should be good as I took three high averages and they all came out pretty much the same. You will be looking for a three by six inch water proof box here, it is a little tricky to open but I'm sure you'll figure it out with no problem. PLEASE put it back in the same place when you leave. As of 8/2/2014 the path from the parking are is passable. The water level is down or they took care of there beaver problem some how. Hopefully the water level will stay constant as it is a great place to take a walk.
