It's amazing to me the number of times that I have placed a new cache near where Walking Woody once had a cache. Like Woody told me once, "It's like you're in my head dude!" Well, this time I decided to actually go into this head ... via his geocache listing page, and well, err .. jack one of his caches. So many to choose from, but I decided to go with Good Old Highway 52, GCVK67! His description is below. Yes, I jacked that too :-) I have added the words in brackets.
An education in how the road used to be!
This is a simple drive by that should take 5 minutes to do. It is along what used to be Highway 52. In the late 60's (I've been told) the highway was give the present day route. Before that it was due south of the cache, right past here and up east Powerline rd where it made a 90 degree turn west. It then decended the hill at the dead end and turned 90 degrees north and along the front edge of the Summit Bog. Take acouple minutes and see if you can imagine how the road used to be.
The cache is a camo film canister (Actually, it's a small camo'd lock-n-lock now). Please be sure to rehide it at least as good as you found it so it doesn't get Muggled.
Park on East powerline rd. there is a path right to the cache.
(BTW, your archived cache could be next. Yeah, you!)
Congratulations to Pasha88 on the FTF!
