Geocache Description:

I had a series of Superhero themed caches a few years ago that did not last long due to muggles. I figured I would try it again on a smaller scale.

The cache is not located at the above listed coordinates. You must first figure out the REAL coordinates to “Iron Man”. The cache is on the edge of Suburbia so beware of muggles but also be aware of slithery friends. Lots of parking is available near

Growing up I was very into D.C. comic books. I specifically enjoyed the Justice League of America series with Superman, the Flash, and Aquaman as my three favorite superheroes but I need to venture out to a few other superheroes. I even liked a few of the Marvel Superheroes. Because of this I give you “Iron Man”.

Iron Man (Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark) is a superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe. Stark was a billionaire playboy, industrialist and ingenious engineer. He suffers a severe heart injury during a kidnapping in which his captors attempt to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction. He instead creates a powered suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. Stark later uses the suit to protect the world as Iron Man. Through his multinational corporation (Stark Industries) Stark has created many military weapons, some of which, along with other technological devices of his making, have been integrated into his suit, helping him fight crime. Initially, Iron Man was a vehicle for Stan Lee to explore Cold War themes, particularly the role of American technology and business in the fight against communism. Subsequent re-imaginings of Iron Man have gradually removed the Cold War themes, replacing them with more contemporary concerns such as corporate crime and terrorism.

Throughout most of the character's publication history, Iron Man has been a member of the superhero team the Avengers and has been featured in several incarnations of his own various comic book series. Iron Man has been adapted for several animated TV shows and films.
