This cache is located within the beautiful grounds of 'Witton Castle Country Park' and overlooks stunning views of the Weardale Valley. It can be accessed as part of the National Cycle Route which runs through the Park or by a gravel road from the A68 leading to the Witton Trout Fishing Lakes. Please note that whilst the track is suitable for cycles, wheel-chairs and pushchairs etc ... there is a small wall to climb to get to the cache (the steps have been taken away sorry :( )
The cache itself is shockingly bright but well hidden so nimble fingers might be needed ... and beware of the spiders webs!
