A small tupperware that contains a pen, a log and some small swaps. It will also hold a trackable or two. At the time of placement (late May) the ground is boggy (it has been a dreary month) so boots are recommended. Paths lead to within a few metres of GZ. The cache is amongst trees (but not at the base of one....LOL). GPS accuracy was 5 metres at the time of placement so the clue may be needed.
So, you are flicking through a twenty year old Glasgow Street Map book and spot an area called "The Wilderness". You check the OS map and, yes, it's real. Well, if any name deserves a cache this is it.
It looks like paths enter The Wilderness from many directions. We approached from a wee road that leaves the A8 (West bound only) which could park a few cars. We know it can also be approached down a signed footpath from the top of the Bellshill bypass. There are waypoints appended for both these access points but there are surely other options.
There's a wee bit of camo on the cache. Please replace and feel free to add more........
