Geocache Description:

Nix Creek Pathway Series (14 Caches)

Texarkana Arkansas City Parks has out done themselves this time. They have went and made a 2.2 mile paved walking, running and biking trail that runs along Nix Creek which flows through the East side of Texarkana Arkansas. This is a beautiful trail that follows the creek and goes through two parks, passes behind but away from both the High School and the Middle School, and through three neighborhoods. The Parks Department also plans on extending this trail in the future so that it may run from Downtown all the way to Arkansas Blvd. Hopefully they may extend it even on over to the Interstate some day. At the present time the trail goes from the Farmers Market area to Arkansas Blvd. There is parking at either end of the pathway at the following coords: N33 25.818 W094 01.771 or N33 27.626 W094 01.238. Of coarse there is other parking available at the parks along the pathway but I will leave that up to you to find.

This is the perfect area for a series of several caches and approval to put those caches out was obtained from the Parks Department Director. So here we go. All the caches are any where’s from 1/10 of a mile to 3/10 of a mile apart. All but a few are just right off the beaten pathway. There is a couple caches that are a short distance off the beaten pathway and another one that is hidden well off the beaten pathway. All these caches are pretty easy to find. The tough part is going to be locating, retrieving, logging and returning them without being seen by the many many muggles passing by. Stealth mode is a must. It will be a fun challenge for even the most seasoned geocacher. So lets get started and have fun with all these caches and again, please put each cache back exactly as you found it so that the next person can search a little. Have fun.

This cache is right out in the open and muggles could be just about anywhere watching you. So please be in your best Stealth Mode. This is a micro sized container that has only room for a log in it. Please bring a pen to sign the log. It is tucked away nicely and will probally be difficult to find for some. This is going to be one of those caches that you may walk right up to and say,"THATSIT, nice hide" or you may walk right up to it, look around and then say, "THATSIT, you %@*!." :) Good luck and again, please put it back as you found it and cover it up if it was covered before so that the next cacher's can enjoy the cache as well.

Have fun.....
