Geocache Description:

This cache brings you to the Q-trail, nice paved bike trail to start, then you need to go on the dirt trail. The terrain is a 3.5 because you have to go up a good hill to get to the path that leads you to the cache.

The Q-trail brings you along the Quinnipiac River in Meriden. We came here one day to cache and decided we need to hide one here too. It was a neat trail through here. We named it A Day at the Races because (Josh who is 7) races cars right across the pond nearby at the Silver City Speedway. He wanted to hide a cache near his track.

Cache is a regular size cammo rectangle lock and lock, filled with some fun toys that have to do with racing. You can trade racing stuff but certainly not limited to it. Cache is kid friendly, did it with a two year old and a 7 year old.

The path is a easy walk once you get up the hill.
Enjoy the hike.

Check out the cache Up the Beaten Path GC27XEV, on the way to ours.
