Geocache Description:

Easy geocache hidden in the most picturesque ( for me :) ) place in Corby.

This is my first geocache hidden in UK. I decided to hide it after i found here my 1000th geocache. So it's a jubilee geocache for me.

I want to thank here top 5 people who placed many geocaches and let me to reach 1000 finds:

Corby as an industrial city hasn`t many nice places but i tried to choose a special one, The Boating Lake.

Something about this lake: Corby Boating Lake was constructed in the early 70's. It is a lovely facility at the heart of the town. The lake can boast a wide range of geese, ducks, water fowl and our residential swans. The recent environmental project has improved fishing stocks. There are also herons, gulls and kingfishers that visit the lake along with a host of woodland and garden birds. Source: http://www.corby.gov.uk
