This trail follows the old Railway Line from Rosegrove Station
through to Shuttleworth Mead link road The line started at
Rosegrove and soon branched off towards Padiham.
This part of the trail is at the moment not surfased and may not be suitable for wheelchairs

This section of the railway was opened around 1876 for passengers
and was closed to passengers around 1963. Now forms part of the
Padiham Greenway
