Geocache Description:

Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

I must admit I love this place. I bring my Boy Scout Troop here every year for an exciting laser show, live animal zoo visit and riotous fun in the hands on Science-Technology Center. Over the years we've seen dozens of planetarium shows and just can't wait to see another one. During this year's trip I became infatuated with their Prehensile-tailed Porcupine. Check out their live Eagle Cam by clicking here. And this place never stops impressing me. While placing this cache I discovered a very beautiful nature area. You'll get to discover it too!

Cache with confidence! This cache was placed with permission from the museum.

Important Notes:

1. This cache is available 24/7. However, cachers should park in the northwest corner of the parking lot (farthest from the museum's entrance).
2. The easiest way to reach the cache is to take the Coovert Pond Prairie Trail which is right next to where you parked. If you follow the trail then only about 30 feet of light bushwhacking is required.
3. As an optional logging requirement please record your city and state in the log book. The museum will get a real kick out it.
