This lovely footpath, nicely hidden away, is a real gem. The cache is a small snap lock box, containing a small log book and swaps, plus one of our running medals
These lovely old paths and sunken lanes are so full of history, everytime we travel along these, I think what events happen in these lanes, who used them over the years.. Most of these date back to times when animals where driven to market, or were used to transport ore for smelting, over the years the lanes were eroded by use, so they become lower than surronding area.
